Terms[edit | edit source]

Absorb 
Ability of non-fragile units to take less than lethal damage and then instantly heal.
Alabaster 
Codename for the first set of units that will be usable in normal game types.
Antares 
The first Grandmaster Set.
Base Set 
Set of basic units present in most game types.
Base+5 
Game type where five random units are available in addition to units from the Base Set.
Base+8 
Game type where eight random units are available in addition to units from the Base Set.
Beginner Set 
Set of simple units geared towards new players.
Big Blue 
Unit that costs a lot of Blue resources to build, typically three.
Black 
Second player.
Blitz 
Fast time control setting (12 seconds per turn).
Breach 
Attack that is stronger than the defensive value.
Breach vulnerable unit 
High value unit with limited health.
Brimstone 
Codename for potential upcoming set of units after Alabaster is completed.
Bullet 
Fastest time control setting available in ranked matches (6 seconds per turn).
Build order or Build 
Plan for purchasing units during early part of the game.
Common unit 
Unit that has supply of twenty.
Classic 
Slowest time control setting (90 seconds per turn).
Epic unit 
Unit that has supply of four.
Grandmaster Set 
Set of predefined units that can be used to play a game with no random unit selection.
Granularity 
Ability of composition of blockers to distribute received damage and maximise absorb.
Kappa 
Fastest time control setting available (3 seconds per turn).
Legendary unit 
Unit that has supply of one.
Normal 
Time control setting (45 seconds per turn).
Quick 
Time control setting (30 seconds per turn).
Rare unit 
Unit that has supply of ten.
Relaxed 
Second slowest time control setting (60 seconds per turn).
Rush 
Build focused on purchasing certain unit or units as fast as possible.
Overkill 
Ability to destroy units under construction when there is nothing else left to attack.
White 
First player.
